Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
So this weekend was my sister’s belated birthday bash, which means the house was chock full of girls who wanted baked goods. My sister had sent me this cookie dough dip that she wanted me to try. It was very simple and quick to make. It’s super sweet though, so you can really only have a little bit.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Step 1: Melt the butter over low heat in a saucepan and whisk in the brown sugar. Once the brown sugar is dissolved and starts to bubble, stir in the vanilla and remove from the heat and let it cool.
Step 2: In the mixer, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. While the mixer is on low, slowly mix in the brown sugar/butter mixture and mix it until it is well combined. Add in the salt and mini chocolate chips.
You can serve this with pretzels, mini graham crackers, or whatever sweet treat you want to dip in!
